If this event is for the people of God... why charge ?
This is something I wrestled with myself. If God freely offers Himself to us, why should there be a price to attend a gathering made for His people to encounter Him? It didn’t sit right with me at first. I had no desire to ask anything from those God has called me to pour into. My heart was set on offering this event at no cost trusting God to bring the people He wanted to be there.

But then, God began to speak to my heart. He gently showed me that my desire to cover the cost was more about protecting myself than serving others. He revealed that I was avoiding vulnerability—the discomfort of asking for support, the fear of rejection, and the thought of being in a position where I might appear as though I needed others. I thought I was acting out of integrity, but God asked me to surrender my pride. He showed me that this was about more than the event; it was about trusting Him in a deeper way.

I want to be open with you because I know you might be wondering the same thing I did—"Why charge for something meant to help people grow closer to God?" The truth is, the church has, at times, misused God's Word for personal gain, and that has left many of us cautious and skeptical. But this isn’t about that. This is about the laws of God’s Kingdom—the principle of seed and harvest.

Throughout the Bible, God invites His people into new seasons through a simple act of faith—by asking them to release something from their hands. Think about the widow who gave her last meal or Abraham’s willingness to sacrifice his son. God didn’t need their offerings, but He used their willingness to reveal His faithfulness and provision. What matters to God is the heart behind the giving—do we truly trust Him?

When God asked me to charge for this event, He reminded me that He doesn’t cast His pearls before swine. Not because people aren’t worthy, but because something precious is meant for those who recognize its value. This event is for those who have been asking, seeking, and knocking in their private moments with God. It’s for those who have been anticipating a deeper encounter with Him. This is the place!
